In the south of Lucania, close to the Pollino National Park, a ruby red wine is produced, characterised by a lively fruity bouquet and a pleasantly dry taste, made from Sangiovese (minimum 60%), Cabernet Sauvignon, Malvasia Nera di Basilicata and Montepulciano grapes. Serve at 16°C-18°C.
Any residue on the bottom indicates the genuineness of the product.

COLLECTION METHOD: By hand in small boxes
WINE-MAKING: After destemming and soft crushing of the grapes, fermentation of the marc takes place at a controlled temperature, with prolonged contact time between the skins and the must, in order to extract the natural colours and aromas; this is followed by racking and pressing.
AGING: In steel containers for 9 months
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18° C
TASTING NOTES: Intense ruby red colour, elegant, with a dry flavour and strong fruity hints. Excellent with first courses, red and white meats and cheeses.
