In the south of Lucania, close to the Pollino National Park, L'Essenza is produced. A fine wine of intense red colour tending to garnet, it is aged in barriques. It has an ample and elegant bouquet, with hints of forest fruits and intense spicy veins, and comes from the Sangiovese (minimum 60%), Cabernet Sauvignon, Black Malvasia of Basilicata and Montepulciano grape varieties. Serve at 16°C-18°C. Any residue on the bottom is an indication of the genuineness of the product. Organic and vegan production.

COLLECTION METHOD: By hand in small boxes
VINIFICATION: After destemming and soft crushing of the grapes, fermentation of the marc takes place at a controlled temperature, with prolonged contact time between the skins and the must.
AGING: Maturation in caves, in oak barrels. It is then filtered and bottled.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18° C
TASTING NOTES: Intense red colour tending towards garnet, with hints of undergrowth fruits and strong spicy veins, coming from refinement in oak barrels. It has a soft taste and the right balance between wood, acidity and structure. Excellent with roast meat, game and cheese.
